Finally I got furniture

After almost a month of living here in Belguim I finally got furniture!!!
It was not that I was lazy and did not went to IKEA to buy something but it is that I have been very very busy with transition and this weekend was the first that I had free.

So all what I did this weekend was to build all the furniture and also to organize my stuff. (I finally finish umpacking :) )
Tomorrow our term oficially starts, so it will be a great day.

Planning so far...

We are now on the middle of planning for the next year, it is nice here, we are on Kevin's house near Antwerp.
Well I just want to share with you that the national day here in Belgium is really cool, people goes out of the street and go to see the parade.
I went there but unfutunately I was not able to see the King.
Anyway near the parade there was a military shop where they were selling old military stuff and I hot a really cool sleeping bag for 10 euros. Now I have to go we need to continue with the planning.

I just came back from the AI Transition party it was really great :)
I saw so many old friends and also the party was great.

It was very different from last year mainly because last year I was by myself and now I went with my new team and I was on the MC Belgium Team (We lost on the first game but it was cool)

Sunday after the transition party we went walking around the city and also I ride the SPIDO a cool boat that takes you around Rotterdam.
Then we came back to Brussels after waiting for the train for more than 1 hour (because the one we were supposed to take was suddenly canceled)

Drinking on the city center

This weekend was great, we had the Belgium Integration Seminar and it was great I learned more about how does the Belgium people behaive.
After the integration semminar we went to for a drink on the middle of the city center, we just had like a small picnic with some beers. It was great! After that we went to a club and start drinking Tequila and Duvel Beer (Duvel beer is really strong like 14 degrees)
Also I learned something from beer the more destilated it is the stronger it is, it is the same as with Tequila, from now on I will only drink triple destilated beer :P

What a week!

This was a very crazy week, but I had lots of fun :)

This week transition started so at the moment I am trying to learn as much as a I can for next year.
Also we had team building days on Antwerp, it was really cool to start to get to know the group better and also to start intaracting with them. (I am sure that we will have great fun next year)

Well today is Saturday I am on the office, you might be thinking this guy is crazy always on the office working but the reason is that we STILL do not have electricity and hot water on our house. It has been almost a week and the electric company has conected our house to the electricity, every morning it is a pain to wake up and take a really cold shower.
I hope it is get solved soon.
That is all for now I will post pictures next time

IKEA trip!!

Yesterday I went to IKEA, I really wanted to go there after all good coments about the store. Well the store is nice but it just a big furniture store. (I have been in cooler shops on the USA or in Mexico). To be honest IKEA looks like a Sams Club or a COSTCO. I guess that most of the stores in Europe are really small and that is why everybody goes crazy with IKEA.
Anyway I had fun there and got my bed, I still need to go there to by more furniture for my room.
Also yesterday we finally moved to our new place, the place is nice but we do not have electricity and hot water, so it will probably work until thursday, so for next week there will only be cold showers.
Now I am on a Sunday at 6:11 pm on the MC office because there is nothing to do on the appartment. The good think is that we are going to have lunch on the city on a cool and turisitic restaurant
