IC is starting

Finally after two days of premeeting IC is starting!!!
Today it was the opening of the HP cafe
Also maybe there will be the possibility of transimiting IC live via the internet, they will confirm to us on the next days.
Well India is really a cool contry, it was definitly more that what I was expecting.
I will post more of my impressions on my next post.

Brussels a city that always surprise you

I really think Brussels is a great city you always find something cool to do, for example yesterday they had a big free concert on the main square.
It was really cool it was kind of electronic music but the group was formed of one Indian guy, one guy from Kenya and one from Ireland, they really rocked the main square.

Well tomorrow I go to India, so my next post will be from the Digital HP cafe in Agra.

What a weeding



Yesterday it was Elies weeding (our MCVPOGX and FINANCE) and I can say it was a great experience for me.
He got married with other AIESECer and you really know when you are on an AIESEC weeding when you hear Reach for the Stars on the church as one of the songs during the ceremony.

Weedings here in Belgium are so different that the weedings in Mexico here are the main differences I found
- The ceremony on the church is early on the morning and the dinner is at night so after the ceremony you have lots of free time. (luckily for us the weeding was on Bruge so we were able to do some sight seeing.
- The dinner last almost 4 hours, and you get food 7 different times, here is how it worked on this weeding
You get soup
You get crab
You get Ice Cream (then you think it is desert and the meal is over but nooo)
Then you get meat
Then you get again Ice Cream
And at the end you get Coffee and cake

Then was time for the party :) , it was a great party I tried to applied some techniques of Weeding Crashers but it did not worked the little flower girls were already taken :S

I wish you Elie and Ann Ellies a great married life together!

It is weekend

Sailing report


Journal of a very cool journey!
Everything started on Friday afternoon when I took the train with Boban to go to Oostende, there we meet the rest of the crew(Askhat, Tonya, Anastasia, Natalya, Jorge, Simone, Oskari, and Boban) for the sailing trip.
Friday night was the first night on board but nothing special happened just we talk about our expectations and some rules and tips for sailing

SATURDAY
The fun started we started sailing at 10 am. It was a very nice day, very sunny and also very warm. But unfortunately for sailing the weather was not so good (not enough wind)
We had fun during the day hanging out on the sea, at the end of the day the wind started to get more strong and we had the first impression of what sailing really was.
We passed the night on Oostende where there was a festival and we hang there during the night.

SUNDAY
The day started very good but the weather changed a lot it was very very windy and also raining (so that means good day for sailing)
Since the beginning of the day the sea was very very wild, and we were doing the sailing tactics for changing the direction and that gives you a great feeling.
Some people got very seasick and started to throw up on the boat, luckily I managed to stay good and avoid getting seasick.

In conclusion this was a great weekend, sailing is a very cool sport where you need to trust a lot on the others because one mistake of one can make the boat sink or go wild.

Thank you Askhat, Tonya, Anastasia, Natalya, Jorge, Simone, Oskari, Boban and Rudy (our skipper) for sharing with me this great experience and remember PREPARE TO ATTACK!

Soccer match

Yesterday I went with some friends to see a Champions League Qualifying Match. The match was Anderlecht against Slavia Prague. The game was interesting and at Anderlecth won (Anderlecht is a Belgium Team). The final result of the game was 2 - 1
Also this weekend I will go sailing :) I have never been sailing so I hope it will be a cool experience. We are going to be sailing for 2 days.
So does anybody has some sailing tips?

Weekend update

This weekend was very cool!!
All started Saturday when I joined the biking trip in Limburg, it was a great day (it had been a while since I was on a bicycle)
Then on Sunday I went to Oostende, it is a great city on the coast here on Belgium. I had lots of fun there visiting the EarthExplorer (it is kind of a park with games to learn more about the Earth) then we went walking on the beach and exploring all the city. In general was a very weekend and I hope more of this weekends on the future :)

Bernardo 2 visit


This week Bernardo 2 came to visit me here in Brussels, it is really cool to see some friends here and also one one way makes you miss the other friends that are still far away.

Also yesterday we went to a Mexican restaurant here in Brussels "Chi-Chis" (very funny name)
and the food was ok more Tex-Mex, than Mexican.

Also we had a tour the other day around Brussels with Dounia, it was nice to show the city and I am starting to know more or less the places so I am starting to fell like a local :P

Finish Harry Potter

I finally finish reading the new book of Harry Potter
I can say it is a great book, I can not wait till the next book to go out in more ore less 2 years.
According to me the scale of the Harry Potter Books is
Book 5 -- This one is great I really enjoy reading it
Book 6
Book 4
Book 3
Book 1
Book 2

For sure Book 7 will be the because there are lots of things that need to happend on that book and by how things finish on book 6....
