Cool night

Yesterday it was a day like all other with nothing special happening (just that we can not enter our office because they are fixing the building and rocks keep falling in front of the door).
Then I got a sms from Joaquin telling me that two mexican friends were visiting him, but he was not able to do anything with them because he was working. So he ask me to go out with them, I also had another appoinment with another mexican girl (that I did not knew until yesterday) so I decided to go all together somewhere.
We went to Delirium Cafe to get some beers and it was very nice :)
The best part of all is that Mexico is a huge country with lots of people and this girls and me have some friends in common, small world ehhh.
Well I had lots of fun yesterday, thanks a lot Maria, Diana and Namie.

Planning!!!

Well lots of things have happend since my last post, here is a small update:
First of all the weekend was cool, it was relaxing and also lots of fun.
I finally unpacked from Mexico and organize my clothes in my room (I just found out that I need more space for all my clothes), then after that I went to a party, it was a great party :) (it was nice to drink some belgian beer).
Then all the MC team went to the middle of nowhere (somewhere in the Neatherlands) to have planning for the next 3 months.
It was nice to be there but I had lots of alergies and I think I also got sick.
Well now I am finally back in the office reading my 120 mails that I just got in the last two days that I was not here.

ps. The picture is of the caravan where we made the planning

NY part 2

Well before comming back to Belgium my flight stop again in New York and I had one day to see the other parts of the city that I did not visited my first day there.
I visited most of the things on a tour bus. Also I went to the place where the World Trade Center was and being there is something incredible, you have seen that place lots of times on TV but being there gives you a feeling that I can not explain. You just need to ask, why things like that happend?
Also I went to the Statue of Liberty :) you always see it in pictures but being there is very nice (I had the impression that it was taller and bigger but it is not so big).
Also I went to have lunch in the ESPNZone restaurant and it was very good.

Something I learned in New York is that Metro that the metro system is very complicated, they have numbers and letters for the lines so it is kind of confusing.
Well enough of words and here are the pictures:

Wedding in Mexico

Well I am still here in Mexico having fun and enjoying my holidays :)
The last weekend my cousin Jorge got married, it was a nice wedding. I think that the best thing of the wedding was that I was able to see the mayority of my family.
Living for one year in Germany and now living in Belgium has make me mss lots of events where the family gets together. I still have one more week here in Mexico before going back to Belgium :) .
In 2 days I will go to the USA for one day to do some shopping :)

New York part 1

Well I have been in Mexico for the last 2 days, I can say I am having lots of fun here, I am eating a lot but it is ok :) .
Well as I promised here is the story of my half day in New York.
After almost 7 hour flight from Brussels to New York, I arrive around 2 pm, I went to my hotel, that was supposed to be very close the airport but it was not so close.
After that I wanted to go to Manhattan so they told me that the best way to go there was by subway and bus, I took both and it took me around 40 min to arrive there. The subway in NYC it is not as nice as the Brussels one also I felt like in Mexico, everybody was talking Spanish.
After trying to guess what the best stop to get out was, I decided to go out in the Metro Station called Madison Square Garden, I thought that it was very close from Time Square and I was right. The first thing I saw when I was out was the Empire State Building it is incredible.
I decided to go to the top of the building so I went up, the view from there is awesome.
After that I went walking to Time Square. Time Square is great I love it, it is so colorful and nice.
Then I decided to go to a baseball game, the Mets were playing against Nationals, it was a great game but it was incredible cold.
This was my highlights of my half a day in New York I saw a lot in less than 6 hours.
I will see the rest of the city when I go back to Brussels, I will have another half a day in NYC before flying to Brussels.
Here are some pics:

Queen day in Amsterdam

Well as common I had no plans for the weekend but again I had a last minute party to go :)
This weekend I went to Amsterdam to celebrate the Queens Day. It was a great party in Amsterdam, the streets where full of people all wearing orange. People was just drinking and having fun in the streets. I went with Kuntal and Feidy (two interns working in DHL) and we walked and had lots of fun.
In the night we meet Tomas from the Dutch MC and we went to a lot of bars, in one of those bars we met the some of the ABN AMRO interns and we partied with them, it was nice to see Gina again (She was in the MC of Mexico last year and she is my playing cards drinking partner)

We partied all night and we catch the first train back to Brussels.
Sunday I was so tired that I slept all day now it is Monday and I am still tired :S
Tomorrow I will be going to Mexico, but first I stop in New York City, so my next post will be from the other side of the world. I am really looking forward to Mexico and my afternoon in New York City.
