Team days in Walibi
Last week we had our last team days and we went to Walibi (the Six Flags here in Belgium).
It was a very nice day, it was sunny and warm.
I love riding roller coasters so I took a ride in almost all of them, the more scary the more fun they are :) .
Well after the day in Walibi, we had tickets for Aqualibi an indoor water park, I was wearing my normal surfer bathing suit and they did not let me go in, they told me that according to the law you need to wear the "spedo" type bathing suits. I will never wear that type of bathing suits in my life (I made the promised to some of my friends watching a video during my Summer Camp in Brazil in 1996, when we all decided that we will never wear "spedos").
Since they did not let me in and the rest of the MC team was there, I decided to go again to the roller coasters and it was great, people left the park early so I had almost 1 hour of ridding roller coaster without making lines.
Well our last team days where great and I just need to add that I will never wear "spedos"

Mexico vs Argentina!
In my last post I mention that I was not going to the Leipzig to see the game, but last minute thing I got tickets for the game in ebay (The tickets cost almost half of my salary).Being inside the stadium and watching the game has been one of the best experiences I have ever had, it is amazing to be there supporting your national team (if the world cup games are very interesting on the TV you can not imagine the feeling of seeing it live). Long time ago I posted all the main sports events I wanted to attend and a world cup match was one of them
Unfortunatelly Mexico lost the game but it was definitly a great game and I have a great felling knowing that the Mexican players gave 100% to win the game (not like in the last game where they were not playing at all) Here are some pics of game:

Again in the World Cup
Yesterday I went again to Germany to see the game Mexico - Portugal (I was watching the game in a big screen outside the stadium). I was impressed there where around 60,000 mexicans it was impresive. I was kind of disapointed of the people from Portugal, they have the World Cup so close but there are not so many fans. The game was ok but Mexico lost, they played terrible, to be honest I was felling very bad yesterday because all the fans travel hours and spent lots of money to go and support the team and when they just play without giving their 100% it is terrible and a lack of profesionalism.
Luckly Mexico qualified to the next round, but we will play against Argentina, so I think it will be very hard to pass to the next round, but hope never dies.
I will not go to that game because it is to far from Brussels around 8 hours by train. I do not think that members of the national team read my blog but you should look at all this picture of people giving their 100% supporting you, unlike others:
Another thing I experienced yesterday is that I pass another night in the Koln Trainstation, this was my 3 time I slept there.

WoW! World Cup
Everywhere you go in Germany people is walking in the streets with their national flags and also their National Team t-shirts.
I went to see the Mexico vs Angola game in Hannover and it was great I have never seen so many Mexicans outside Mexico, there where around 50,000. Since I did not had tickets for the game I saw it on a big screen outside the stadium, the transimition of the game was in spanish so it was great to listen it spanish, since the transmitions in German are borring.
The game finish tied 0 - 0 so there was not a big celebration after the game, but still I went to a party where they were giving free tacos and also a free concert.
I will go again this Wednesday to Germany to see the game against Portugal. I hope that Mexico wins this time and that we can have a big celebration.

Going to the World Cup
I am going to the World Cup tomorrow :)I am really looking forward to live the World Cup sensation.
I will be arriving in Koln and then going to Hannover. I just heard on the news that there are expected 40000 mexican fans in the city (and I guess most of them have no tickets, just like me).
I will post pictures on Monday as soon as I am back in Belgium.
bye bye

World Cup weekend
This weekend was great, there is finally nice weather in Brussels, it makes me fell like home but with no airco or fans (yesterday we had 33°).Well this weekend I pass most of my time in bars watching the games (since I have no TV), some games where very good, Mexico WON!!! and othere where very borring. Portugal vs Angola was the worst game I have seen in long time.
Well next Friday I go to Germany to see the Mexico game, I still have no ticket but the hope to get one ticket never dies, if not I will just have fun outside the stadium watching the game in the big screens.

Tickets
Yesterday I was reading my mail when suddenly I got a mail from the Fifa World Cup Ticketing office (I am still on the waiting list to get tickets there), I thought maybe I got tickets already for the game, but nooooo the mail just to said that I am still in the waiting list. That mail was just a bad way to give me hopes to see the game.
You can read the email they sent me
Dear Football fan,
The 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany (TM) has just started!
As you placed an order for conditional tickets you still have the chance to get tickets allocated. In order to avoid unnecessary trips we would like to remind you that so far we could not allocate any tickets to your order.
You have the chance of getting tickets allocated until 36 hours before the relevant match. In this case you would get a confirmation from us. In your own interest, we advice you not to go to one of our Stadium Ticket Center (STC) a tour 12 FIFA World Cup venues, unless you actually have tickets allocated that you need to collect.
If you do not get any tickets allocated within the conditional ticket programme refunds will take place, at the latest, four weeks after the end of the competition.
We wish you a lot of fun at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany (TM) !

World Cup around the corner
Well the World Cup is just around the corner and I still do not have tickets, I am in the waiting list for the conditional tickets program (a very strange program where you pay for you ticket and in case someone cancel you get the ticket).Anyway I will go to Germany to see the Mexico games, at least I will have the feeling of being outside the stadiums having fun watching the games :) .
I also got my bahn card to get reduction on the German trains, so I am more than ready to go to the World Cup.
