Pedro in Hi5
I am sure lots of people has receved invitations to join what ever group of networking platform. I always ignore them and I really did not care about it. Last week talking with my sister she told me about hi5 (lots of times I received invitations to join, but I never joined), she told me that lots of my old friends from when I was living in Mexico where there, so finally I decided to join. Now I am very happy that I joined I already conected with 100 friends and most of them are people that I have lost contact with them. You can visit my profile in pedroadrian.hi5.com if you are there and you are not in my friend list just add me and keep in touchbye byePedro
Brussels
Last weekend it was the very famous carpet of flowers here in Brussels :)It was very nice to see thie carpet, I went there with around 23 interns so we had fun.Brussels is a nice city, to bad that the weather is very strange here...
Stripper in the intern drink
Yesterday it was a very nice intern drink and we had a stripper there.
We did not hire a stripper for the drink it was the bachlor party of one guy and we just enjoyed the show
Weekend biking trip
This weekend we had another biking trip organized by one of the LCs, it was again a great day.We visited Bokrijk an open air museum where you can see how people used to live in the past, it was great and I learned a lot. Also I can not imagine how boring was living in the past without all the technology we have today.
why?
Well I have been thinking a lot today of why things happend in this life.
Yesterday I heard the news that Ondra died in a car accident... he was a great guy just my age with the whole life in front of him. Everybody loved Ondra he was a guy that always was smilling and helping you on what ever you need.
The main question I have now is why...
Why him? (There are lots of bad people in this world and nothing happens to them)
I guess I will never get an answer to this question....
What I learned from this is that you never know when it will be your time to leave this world, so you really need to live everyday as if it was the last one.
Ondra you will always be remembered and you really left an impact in AIESEC in Belgium (everytime i go to the MC house kitchen I picture you sitting in next to the window drinking a beer)
Weekend...
I know it is a little late to update about the weekend but my new MC term has just started, so it is busy here. This weekend was great, all started with the MC transition party. The party was very cool, we had around 70 people here in our office :) . Then Saturday I went to the gym and to the movies (I saw 3 movies). Sunday was the biking trip from Brugge to the beach, it was very cool. We cycle for around 2 hours and then had fun in the beach (unfortunatelly the weather was not so nice). Well that is a short update of the weekend, here are some pics:
